ABOUT US
A place to worship, grow and belong
Our church is a diverse and welcoming community in Yardley Birmingham, bringing together people of different ages, cultures and backgrounds to love one another and serve and worship Christ Jesus. We meet together every Sabbath (Saturday) to worship, serve our community and study the Bible.
Whether you're a lifelong Adventist, returning to church or simply exploring faith, you're welcome here.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Why are we Seventh-day Adventists?
Jesus at the centre
Our faith is centred on Jesus Christ.
We believe we are all sinners, but Jesus who was God that came to earth in the flesh, gave his life to set us free from the bondage of sin and by accepting him as our saviour we can experience his peace his forgiveness, a new life and salvation.
The Bible as our foundation
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the foundation of our faith. We use it as our blueprint for how to love and treat one another and how to live our everyday lives.
The Sabbath
As Seventh-day Adventists, we keep the seventh-day Sabbath holy as on of the ten commandments from sunset on Friday evening to sunset on Saturday we observe this day of the week a dedicated day to rest and magnify God.
We believe God created the Sabbath as special time for us to step away from the busyness of life, fellowship with God, spend time with each other and be renewed.

WHAT TO EXPECT
You're welcome to worship with us
Our mission is to glorify God through worship, service, and outreach, sharing His love with all.
If you would like to visit, you don't need to know everything about the Bible. You don't need to have everything figured out.
Out of reverence for God and the sanctuary we wear modest dress (loosely covered up), turn off or silence our mobile devices and dedicate our attention to the service and worshiping God without distractions.
